The Next Chapter for The 100% Project Board

Celebrating leadership change and welcoming our new Co-Chairs

At The 100% Project, our mission is to drive gender balance in leadership across Australia. That mission is guided by strong governance and committed leadership. Today, we share a key moment for our Board.

After years of thoughtful service, Jane Hill, has stepped down from the role of Board Chair. Jane joined the Board in 2020 during a time of great uncertainty, when the pandemic was unfolding and connecting people was harder than ever. Under her steady leadership, The 100% Project didn’t just respond; it grew. Traditional fundraising models were reworked, new formats like webinars and podcasts were introduced, and strategic partnerships expanded our reach. More than that, Jane brought a deep commitment to evidence-led work that shifts thinking and influences policy, from psychological safety to issues like the glass cliff. We are thankful that she will continue to support us beyond her tenure as Chair and for the impact she has made on this cause.

As Jane steps back, we are pleased to welcome Kat Stevenson and Mark Morris as our new Co-Chairs of the Board.

Introducing our Co-Chairs

Kat Stevenson brings a strong background in organisational psychology, people and culture, and inclusion work. Her connection to The 100% Project goes back years, including significant contributions to our research efforts before joining the Board. Kat’s perspective on wellbeing, systems-level change, and community influence will be invaluable as we steer future direction.

Mark Morris brings more than two decades of leadership experience across public and private sectors. He is known for his work in leadership development, HR and culture strategy, and coaching. Mark is also an advocate for reframing conversations about masculinity and inclusion, and has a growing focus on equity work in education and early childhood.

Together, Kat and Mark bring a mix of research, organisational insight, and lived commitment to gender equity. Their combined skills and perspectives position The 100% Project to continue strengthening our research, partnerships, and engagement in national conversations on workplace equality.

Why this matters

Strong governance matters for our mission. This leadership change reflects both continuity and growth. Jane’s legacy provides a solid foundation, and our new Co-Chairs bring fresh energy and focus as we work to influence beliefs, practice, and policy across Australia.

We look forward to what comes next with Kat and Mark at the helm, supporting our Board and community to create workplaces where everyone has an equal opportunity to lead.
