“Gender equality is not a zero-sum game; it benefits everyone and contributes to the overall well-being and flourishing of society as a whole. We need a world where everyone, regardless of their gender, can thrive, and where all individuals are respected, valued, and given equal opportunities to succeed.”

Paul Starr

DIRECTOR

Organisational Psychology | Leadership & Culture | Equity & Fairness

Paul is a Company Director with People Measures, bringing 30 years' experience in leadership, culture and talent. Throughout his career, and before it, he has held a strong belief in the dignity of the individual, and in equity, justice and fairness for all people, including all genders. That conviction traces back to his early years, having been raised by a single mother, the daughter of Holocaust survivors, and watching her navigate significant hardship without the opportunities or privilege afforded to others.

Paul's academic background is in organisational psychology, and his career has mostly been in leadership consulting, alongside some senior internal roles. Prior to joining People Measures, he spent five years at Amcor, where he was responsible for organisation-wide initiatives across 35,000 employees in 44 countries, and served as Chair of the inaugural Global Diversity Council.

Outside work, Paul is a husband and father of two adult sons. He enjoys the gym and running, discovering new destinations with his wife (and occasionally the kids, when he and his wife are feeling generous), and anything to do with good food, from market shopping to cooking to simply eating something great made with love.

Donna Naismith

DIRECTOR

Organisational Psychology | People & Culture | Research

Donna is an Organisational Psychologist (Registrar) with a lifelong interest in women’s wellbeing, gender equity, workplaces, learning and leadership. Donna joined The 100% Project’s Research Committee in 2022 as part of her Master’s in Psychology program and in TOPP’s research and volunteer community, Donna found a place where her values and interests align. Alongside her Chair of Research Committee role, Donna now also serves as a Board Director.

"I think if you ask most people if they want a workplace (and world) that is fair and equitable, they would say yes. Our research contributes to the conversation and provides insights into evidence-based actions that organisational leaders can take to advance gender equity outcomes. If our work helps someone understand a little bit more, on why gender equity matters, it's a step in the right direction."

Michael Bishop

Through his involvement with The 100% Project, Michael is committed to advancing practical, evidence-based initiatives that promote gender-balanced leadership and create workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to grow and thrive in inclusive environments.
